Neil previously worked at Southwest Securities (now Hilltop Securities),where he was a municipal sales trader serving institutional and high-net-worth clients. Earlier in his career, he was a broker at Associated Brokers and helped launch a municipal trading system. As Managing Director at InternationalExchange Brokers, he managed opportunity strategies across investment-grade municipal, corporate, and government bonds.
Neil holds a Series 65 license and is a Uniform Investment Adviser. His systematic approach to fixed income portfolio construction supports consistent and disciplined execution.
James Kim also serves as Senior Portfolio Manager and has 18 years of industry experience, including five years at the firm. Before joining OneOak Capital Management, LLC, he was Chief Investment Officer andChairman of the Investment Committee at Alternative Capital Advisers, where he focused on alternative investments, including hedge funds, real estate, and life settlement strategies.
Previously, James was a Senior Research Analyst at Terrapin Asset Management and a member of the allocation committee, conducting due diligence across a wide range of investment strategies. He also contributed to acquisitions and helped manage mid-cap equity funds. He began his career in investment banking at Deutsche Bank and Chardan Capital Markets, working on mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, and SPAC transactions.
