Who We Are: The One Oak Capital Story

Investors seeking success in fixed income need more than market access—they need deep expertise, disciplined risk management, and the ability to act decisively when opportunities arise. One Oak Capital Management seeks to deliver.

The Foundation

OneOak Capital Management was founded in February 2013 by Steve DiTursi, CEO andChief Investment Officer, with a clear objective: to create active trading strategies designed to generate strong, risk-adjusted returns for high-net-worth individuals and family offices.

Steve brings more than 40 years of experience in fixed income markets. Over his career, he led fixed income trading desks at multiple regional dealers across the United States. His expertise spans risk management, identifying inefficiencies in over-the-counter fixed income markets, and consistently extracting alpha.

From its inception, One Oak Capital Managementwas built on an institutional-grade operating framework. This was not a firm finding its footing—it launched with structure, experience, and a well-defined purpose.

Growth Through Strategic Expansion

The firm began with a single investment-grade municipal hedge fund, establishing proof of concept. From there, One Oak expanded thoughtfully.

The team developed three separately managed account strategies:

As of September 30, 2025, One Oak Capital Management oversees $351 million in assets under management. The firm employs 14professionals, including 11 investment specialists whose sole focus is uncovering opportunity and managing risk.

Investment Philosophy: Nimble andOpportunistic

One Oak operates intentionally as a boutique firm. Unlike large institutions which are often constrained by layers of approval, rigid mandates, and slow decision-making, One Oak is designed to move quickly and decisively.

The firm focuses on investment-grade municipal and corporate bonds, employing disciplined, laddered strategies aimed at delivering tax-advantaged income and total return. Every portfolio is aligned with clients' long-term objectives. The firm avoids chasing short-term gains that may introduce undue risk, instead building portfolios structured to perform across market cycles.

The Competitive Advantage

One OakCapital Management differentiates itself by exploiting structural inefficiencies and relative value opportunities within the municipal bond market.

We have observed that many investment managers are constrained by operational inefficiencies that can delay execution and cause missed opportunities. One Oak maintains ready-to-deploy capital across portfolios, allowing the team to act immediately when attractive opportunities arise.

Municipal bonds trade over the counter, where pricing transparency is limited and information is unevenly distributed. These market characteristics create inefficiencies that OneOak is particularly well positioned to identify and capitalize on—often more effectively than larger, less agile competitors.

Every investment is evaluated on a risk-adjusted basis, with the aim of providing clients access to compelling opportunities without assuming excessive risk.

Proven Performance and Recognition

In investing, results matter - independent validation matters even more.
